Little Heath Values and Ethos

At Little Heath Primary school, we want our children to REACH.

Respect    Explore    Acceptance   Challenge    Honesty

Collectively spelling out as "REACH," our values form the foundation of our school's culture and mission. Each value represents a crucial aspect of the personal and academic growth we strive to foster in every student.

Respect means valuing others, their opinions, and their individuality. It is about treating everyone with kindness and understanding, recognising that diversity enriches our community.

Explore encourages curiosity and the pursuit of knowledge beyond the classroom. It promotes open-mindedness and a willingness to embrace new ideas, perspectives, and experiences.

Acceptance focuses on creating an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Challenge is about pushing boundaries, setting high expectations, and embracing opportunities to grow through perseverance and determination. Students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and strive for excellence.

Honesty emphasises the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all actions. It is about building trust and maintaining strong relationships based on truthfulness.

Together, these values inspire our students to REACH their full potential, both academically and personally, in a supportive, dynamic, and respectful environment.
